The signer gets no email
What to check, and how to fix it.
Last updated 9 Oct 2026
What to do
- Open the Signature record. Check the Status and the Email field. Read the Processing Log field.
- A Status that stays at Requested can mean a wrong PDF page name. The error in Apex Jobs then reads You have attempted to reach a URL that no longer exists on salesforce.com. Check the
c__in front of the name. - Open Setup. In the Quick Find box, type Deliverability. Access level must be All email. A new sandbox starts with System email only.
- On the Configuration tab, check that Turn Off Emails is off, or that the address is on the Whitelist.
- Ask the signer to look in the spam folder. See Emails that look like spam.
Applies to
Simple Signature 5.8.x. This fix comes from the tested Simple Signature implementation guide.
